Change is good!

Change in the blog title anyway! According to the online Merriam-Webster Dictionary, one of the definitions of the word tidbit is “a choice or pleasing bit (as of information).”  Well as an educator with over 30 years of experience, in and out of the classroom, I certainly hope to have quite a few tidbits of information that might come in handy for anyone interested in helping others to learn. With the advent of technology, these tidbits have grown, I’m pleased to admit. Most of these tidbits I’ve acquired directly or through my excellent colleagues. Some of them have come up with some unique ideas. Through collaboration we’ve grown and helped our students to try to reach their full potential.

Teaching is such an exciting profession! It’s so full of possibilities for both the student  and teacher.  Whether it’s a one-on-one experience or a 1 to 125 scenario, everyone wins! Some might say, “But the teacher is too young or too old!” No matter, the participants on both ends come away with a new learning experience, the least of which might be just learning to be patient!
